Content Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and creative Content Marketer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies to drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and ultimately generate leads and sales. Proven writing skills are a must, as the role demands crafting compelling narratives and persuasive messaging. This role requires a strong storyteller with a deep understanding of content marketing best practices and a passion for creating high-quality, impactful content.
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy, Planning, and Production: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with marketing and business goals. Identify target audience personas, conduct keyword research, map out content topics and formats to address client needs, and create, edit, and publish content that fulfills the strategy.
- Content Creation: Create a wide range of content assets including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, infographics, videos, webinars, and social media posts. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external influencers to generate compelling content that showcases our expertise and resonates with our audience.
- SEO and Content Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic. Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page SEO elements, and incorporate relevant keywords and phrases into content to improve search rankings and attract qualified leads.
- Content Distribution and Promotion: Develop distribution plans to maximize the reach and impact of content across various channels including our website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and third-party platforms. Leverage social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and other tactics to promote content and amplify our brand message.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of content initiatives using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and HubSpot. Track key metrics such as website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and lead generation. Use insights to iterate on content strategies and optimize performance over time.
- Content Calendar Management: Manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent cadence of content production and publication. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan content themes, deadlines, and distribution schedules. Stay organized and proactive in managing deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

Proven experience in content marketing, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Hubspot, or Drupal.

Proficiency in using analytics tools to track and measure content performance.
