The publishers behind some of the world’s biggest, most recognizable entertainment and gaming brands including Screen Rant, Game Rant, Collider, CBR, and more. A privacy consent plus adblock recovery case study.
In late 2020, IAB Europe and the regulatory body behind the EU’s GDPR privacy & consent law updated the original standards and requirements set in 2018. Admiral was one of the first Consent Management Platform (CMP) solutions to offer publishers around the world an update to the latest TCF2.0 framework.
After using another vendor and testing others, Valnet decided on Admiral’s Consent Management solution across multiple properties, due to its ease of use, UX, analytics, customization options, and account support. The fact that Admiral offered a one-tag solution with zero dev work, that included adblock recovery, sealed the deal.
Step one was to install Admiral which was accomplished by a simple copy and paste of our JS tag into the site <head>. This gave the customer access to Admiral’s free revenue analytics and the entire suite of VRM solutions including Consent and Engage.
During onboarding, Admiral’s Customer Love team worked closely with Valnet to troubleshoot any issues interacting with downstream vendors. Once the CMP was in place, and all sites were GDPR compliant, Valnet, delighted with the rollout, decided to use Admiral to also manage CCPA compliance.
Last but not least, Admiral launched its Engage adblock revenue recovery module across a number of Valnet sites to fantastic results.
